Position Description

The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will provide fund development planning, goal setting, evaluation, and program development in collaboration with the Vice President of Development and the President. This position will prepare and manage foundation and corporation proposals and/or other solicitations to include identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Performs all duties in accordance with NVCI's behavioral standards, mission, vision and values of Discovery, Excellence, Collaboration, Compassion, Integrity, and Stewardship.

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related area, exceptional writing skills, knowledge and experience of the grant writing process, strong organizational and time management skills. Seven to ten years experience in public relations, marketing, promotions, or fundraising. Knowledge of budget preparation and monitoring are required. Must possess the ability to secure appointments with corporate and foundation decision-makers and to set and meet deadlines. Must be able to prioritize, use excellent judgment, be organized and detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills and have knowledge of desktop computing applications.
